The inspiration for the FLIP cap came from reCAP Mason Jars fans. Countless customers using the reCAP POUR wrote in asking for a cap with a large hole to use with pickles, peaches, and jam. The founder of reCAP, Karen Rzepecki, created the design but made it even more multipurpose by adding an optional shaker screen insert. Not only can you pop open the top to snatch pickles and peaches or spoon out jams - but now you can even shake herbs, flour, sugar, cheese, and more.
