Giftable Potpourri in a Mason Jar

There's something about the smell of simmering apples, oranges, and cinnamon that makes a house feel like a home during the holidays. This one's an easy, budget-friendly gift for neighbors, teachers, mail carriers or  really, anyone on your list.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Apples
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Cup Cranberries
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 TBSP whole cloves
  • 1 Sprig of Pine

How to make it:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F. Slice the apples and orange thin and sprinkle with cinnamon, then spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet along with the whole cranberries. Bake 2 hours, flip, and bake another 1.5 to 2 hours until dried.
  2. Layer dried apples in the bottom of a pint Mason jar, then oranges, then a second layer of apples.
  3. Tuck in the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and a pine sprig if you have one on hand for extra holiday cheer.
