Two recipes. Same magical result.
Method 1: Traditional Borax Slime
Recipe adapted from A Spark of Creativity
Ingredients
-2 tsp Borax
-1½ cups water
-1 bottle Elmer’s white glue
-10 drops green food coloring
-Glitter
-Mason jar + reCAP® FLIP or POUR lid
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix 1 cup water with 2 tsp borax. Stir until dissolved. Set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the entire bottle of glue with ½ cup water. Stir well.
3. Add 10 drops of green food coloring and mix.
4. Stir in a generous amount of glitter.
5. Pour the borax mixture into the center of the glue mixture. Wait for the slime to begin solidifying.
6. Use your hands to squish and form the slime into a ball. Drain excess liquid.
Your Lucky slime is ready to play.
Method 2: Cornstarch Slime (Eco- & Kid-Friendly Option)
Looking for a gentler version? This recipe skips borax.
Ingredients
-1½ cups water
-3–4 drops food coloring
-2 cups cornstarch
-Glitter
-Mason jar + reCAP® lid
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix water and cornstarch thoroughly.
2. Slowly stir in glitter.
3. Add food coloring and mix until evenly colored.
4. Knead with hands until it forms a soft, squishy texture.
This version will be slightly runnier than the borax recipe — but just as fun.
Store It Smarter
Once playtime is over, store slime in a Mason jar capped with a reCAP® FLIP or POUR lid to keep it from drying out.
No plastic containers.
No mystery craft bins.
Just twist, seal, and store.
