reCAP Limited Lifetime Warranty Statement

I. Overview

reCAP is committed to making durable, high-quality products. This Limited Lifetime Warranty describes our commitment to replace a reCAP cap that fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, for as long as you own it.

II. Coverage

This warranty covers the reCAP cap for defects in materials and workmanship under normal use storing nontoxic ingredients. It applies to all caps purchased on or after August 1, 2019. Coverage is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

What is covered

• Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use
• Replacement of the defective cap

What is not covered

• Gaskets and accessories such as pumps, sprayers, pour spouts, oil taps, and paper products
• Jars and books
• Normal wear and tear, loosening of parts affecting fit, or cosmetic damage
• Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Damage from external causes such as fire, flood, or other natural disasters
• Loss of time or other costs due to product malfunction

III. How to Make a Claim

Email warranty@recapmasonjars.com and include:

• Your name
• Date of purchase
• Receipt or order information, if you have it
• A photo and short description of the defect

You do not need to mail the old cap back to us. Once your claim is approved, your replacement cap ships within 5 business days. Shipping on the replacement is paid by the customer.

IV. Limitation of Liability

reCAP is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product. Our liability is limited to the cost of the product and does not extend to any other losses.

V. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania, and any disputes arising from it are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pennsylvania.
