Spice up your tastebuds with this homemade Giardinera recipe that is so easy to make...it's the waiting that's the hard part! This great veggie condiment will be the perfect pair to any burger, hot dog, sandwich and even omelets. It will take some mad will-power skills to be able to patiently wait for this Mason jar filled with spicy, veggie goodness...but it's worth the wait!
Ingredients
- 10-12 Radishes, halved
- 1/4 Cauliflower, cut
- 1 inch Ginger, peeled, chopped
- 1 Jalapeno, halved
- 1 tablespoon(s) Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
- 1 quart(s) Water
Instructions
- Chop off ends of radishes and wash
- Half them using the Rapid Slicer
- Wash and cup up the cauliflower
- Peel and chop the ginger
- Half the jalapeno and remove or keep seeds to desired spiciness level
- Place the Pink Himalayan Sea Salt into the QT of water
- Shake to make the brine
- In a Mason Jar, pack up on the veggies
- Submerge in the brine
- Add weight on top to keep the freshness
- Add reCAP lid
- Add the fermenter
- Let ferment for 1-3 weeks
- Enjoy!
