Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix in a Mason Jar

Layer the dry ingredients in a jar and you've got a ready-to-bake cookie mix that makes a thoughtful holiday, teacher, or housewarming gift; easy enough for the whole family to help assemble.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup white sugar,
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
*Helpful tool: an ice cream scoop, to gently pack each layer
How to layer it:
- Pour the rolled oats into a clean mason jar.
- Add the white sugar layer.
- Add the chocolate chips.
- Add the brown sugar, packing gently with the ice cream scoop.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then add as the final layer.
- Seal with a reCAP FLIP lid and attach a gift tag with baking instructions.
Baking instructions for the tag:
- Preheat to 350°F.
- Mix 2 eggs, 3/4 cup softened butter, and 1 tsp vanilla in a bowl.
- Pour in the jar mix, and combine well.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a cookie sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes until lightly golden.
