Pumpkin & Cinnamon Dog Treats Recipe
Fall flavors aren't just for people. These pumpkin and cinnamon dog treats are simple to make, need only a handful of ingredients, and keep well in a mason jar, so you always have a reward ready.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup pureed pumpkin
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (make sure it contains no xylitol)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons water
A note on peanut butter: Xylitol is an artificial sweetener found in some peanut butters, and it is dangerous for dogs. Always read the ingredient label before you buy or use any peanut butter for these treats.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, water and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll the dough out until it is 1/2 inch thick, then cut into shapes.
- Bake until hard, about 35 minutes.
Storing your treats
